The skills needed ... The skills needed to be a good businessman are not the same that are needed to be a good politician. Romney cares more about money and power than patriotism.? Sadly, this is true of more than 90% of elected officials.

Unfortunately, I ... Unfortunately, I see nothing changing until there is major reform such as measures to make politics a more level playing field. People with experience and knowledge of the middle class are effectively barred from running for ANY political office thru financial constraints.
Most very rich people (the only ones who can afford? to run for office) are expert in exploiting the masses to acquire their fortunes, but its those honest hardworking masses that need representation - now more than ever!

@AdenCrockerTV? I ... @AdenCrockerTV? I now believe that it's an indefensible practice. It's sole purpose is to avoid taxation. However it's difficult to ban because the simple act of having that little piece of paper from the Cayman Islands means the money is not under US jurisdiction. And you can't just completely ban money going overseas because there are legitimate reasons for it to go overseas. And lots of campaign donations come from people who use the Caymans, so lawmakers are in no hurry to outlaw it.
@AdenCrockerTV This ... @AdenCrockerTV This is correct. Here's what happens. I would call our Cayman attorneys at Walkers and ask them to form an LP. They can do? it really fast and they have all the infrastructure for complying with Cayman Law. They would then e-mail me a color PDF of the Cayman Certificate of of Limited Partnership. I would then forward that to Goldman Sachs and they would open the account and register it as being in the Cayman Islands. The money never leaves the US.

Well I would have to disagree, the 50's.. economically speaking.. was absolutely the most prosperous time in this nation. Union membership was at it's strongest point..creating the middle class, and large corporations were kept in check.
A middle class family could live well on one paycheck if they so desired.
Take away money and what's left, survival... and that's what this game is all about. If being able to survive isn't the? American Dream... I don't know what is.
